How do I limit a coupon to a one-time discount on Shopify?

Hi, I need to start implementing promotional strategies to increase sales on my Shopify store. I want to run automatic, percentage-based discount coupons on products instead of shipping discounts or BOGOs. However, it doesn't look like I can limit it to being a one-off.

You can limit the percentage-based discount to one per customer by the following procedure:
- Log In to your Shopify account.
- Go to the Add Discount page.
- Navigate to the Usage Limit section.
- Set the limit to one discount per customer.
- Save and exit the page.
Now each customer can use the offer only once. Note that you can also set the expiry date from the same page for this discount campaign.
