Where do I find the measurement ID in GA4?
Asked a year ago
I recently made the migration from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4. So far, I am enjoying the features of GA4. However, I am struggling with how much has changed between UA and GA4. For example, in UA, I used the tracking ID for data collection. But now, in GA4, I have to use the measurement ID for data collection, and I don't know where to find it.

In GA4, your measurement ID signals at your data streams. Every data stream has a unique measurement ID, but the property ID will remain the same across all streams.
To find the measurement ID in GA4:
- Head over to your GA4 property.
- Click on "Admin" on the bottom left.
- Go to Property > Property Settings. You'll find your measurement ID in the top right corner.
