Google Analytics uses this formula to calculate the average order value:

GA Average Order Value = Overall value of sales in dollars / Total orders in a specific time

Follow these steps to navigate this metric in GA:

  1. Select Conversions.
  2. Go to E-commerce.
  3. Now select Overview. Your Average Order Value pops up.

If you have made your website on WordPress, you can install the WordPress Analytics plugin to monitor your AOV.

Average order value (AOV) is the metric used for calculating your transactions' average value in your e-commerce store. The formula used in GA for calculating AOV is:

Product revenue / Total transactions

To find your AOV in Google Analytics, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. To find the AOV of your entire site, go to Conversion > E-commerce > Overview.
  3. In the Overview Dropdown option, you will see AOV and other metrics.

The average order value in Google ads and Google Analytics is obtained through this formula:

AOV = Total revenue/ Total number of orders

To view your AOV in Google Analytics, log into your Google Analytics account and navigate to "Conversions." Next, go-to "e-commerce" and then to "Overview." Average order values are present there with metrics.
