Can we get raw ecommerce data from Google analytics?

Asked 4 months ago

Hi, I recently started a new e-commerce store on Shopify, and was wondering if I can extract raw data for analytics? I am not new to data extraction, however, this seems to work fairly differently than my normal blogs' data extraction. Any advice?

Yes. Google Analytics gives an option to extract the data in CSV, TSV, or Excel files. Although it is slightly different from extracting blog data, it is not that difficult.

Follow these five steps to obtain the data:

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. Go to the homepage.
  3. Select the desired date range you want to export.
  4. Click Export (you can find it with the Report button).
  5. Choose a suitable file format.
